Soundset, an annual rap festival that takes place in Minnesota, has announced that Future and A$AP Rocky will be headlining its 2016 lineup. The 9th annual festival will also feature 40 other performances on three stages, b-boy battles, graffiti displays, and a “Skateboard Showdown.” Tickets go on sale this Friday. [Rap-Up]

Hamilton, the historical broadway play told through rap, is currently the hottest show on Broadway and impossible to get tickets for. Well, the show’s creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is curating remixes, covers, and tracks inspired by the play for an official Hamilton Mixtape. He’s enlisting help from Chance the Rapper, UsherSia, Busta Rhymes, Queen Latifah, and many more artists to come. “Walk Away” by Maryland rapper Dutch Capital is a new track that’s picking up quite the buzz. Though it’s rare for a man to be so open about love, Dutch was more than happy to let his guard down when it came to finding Ms. Right on this song. “The vibe and everything was perfect. When we were in the studio together, I knew this was the one. The energy was great, and it happened organically,” Dutch says of this dope collaboration with Tory Lanez. [Billboard]

If you’re not familiar yet, Tassho Pearce is a rapper from Hawaii that made a name for himself on the island before moving to the mainland to pursue his dreams.
