Following her emotional Grammy performance of “Till It Happens To You,” Lady Gaga got matching tattoos with the sexual assault survivors with whom she shared the stage.
According to Gaga’s tattoo artist, David Allen at Pioneer Tattoo in Chicago, the ink is a symbol of unity. Of the 50 women and men who joined Gaga during her performance, several have taken to social media to proudly display their new work.

For her part, Gaga documented the entire process on Snapchat, where she revealed that she also made a pact with the survivors. We’re inspired by the solidarity among these strong individuals.
