The “dream teens” are on their way up.
Willow Smith was just handpicked by Karl Lagerfeld to be Chanel’s first ambassadress, while Zendaya just scored a role in the upcoming Spider-Man flick. So it’s no surprise that W Magazine labeled the two, along with Kiernan Shipka, as “rising stars.” After all, they are some of young Hollywood’s hottest.
In the cover for W’s April issue, the three style influencers pose alongside each other, each rocking a different-color bold lip while fiercely serving face for the camera. However, some fans aren’t too pleased with the shot.
Although initial reactions were largely positive, others have come out to comment on the “paler” appearance of Willow and Zendaya.

W Mag has not responded to the criticism yet. Despite the controversy, there’s no doubt that the cover story produced dope quotes from Willow, Zendaya, and Kiernan.
