If you’ve been on Twitter today, you noticed The Obama Doctrine was trending this morning. That’s because Barack Obama is on the cover of The Atlantic and the article inside is worth checking out. But that’s not the only thing in The Atlantic making news this morning.

The publication also got a first look at the return of The Black Panther. Marvel tapped writer Ta-Nehisi Coates to bring the comic back to life. He sat down with The Atlantic to discuss the challenges of writing Marvel’s Black Panther. Take a look at the video above.

Strap in.

Hardcore Henry is one of the most unflinchingly original wild-rides to hit the big screen in a long time. This first-person action film stars Sharlto Copley as told from the eyes of Henry, who must discover his identity and save his wife from a warlord with a plan to bio-engineer soldiers. The film is due in theaters this September.

Tyler Perry is making an apartheid movie. His 34th Street Films house announced development of a new feature film project called The Year of the Great Storm.

The movie will focus on the true story of Amy Biehl, an American Fulbright scholar who was living in South Africa during the dangerous and violent days of the armed struggle against apartheid. Tyler Perry, Ozzie Areu, and Matt Moore will produce the project about Amy’s legacy.

Tyler Perry’s studio says it’s thrilled to be tackling such a difficult, but inspiring subject matter.

Diddy is planning to take over the political season again with Revolt. His network has launched a new political Initiative, Revolt 2 Vote, which encourages engagement and discussion on critical issues – including gun violence, the economy, and immigration – among the most multicultural generation in U.S. history through original research.

Anchored by their Chief Political Correspondent Amrit Singh, REVOLT 2 VOTE will include a weekly digital series featuring interviews with political leaders, and insight from young thought leaders and influencers.

In really sad news, The Most Interesting Man In The World, actor Jonathan Goldsmith, is being replaced by Dos Equis. After nine years, the brand is sending him off into space never to return. However, there will be a different but equally interesting man:

“From superheroes to superspies, our fans are accustomed to and enjoy different takes on the same character,” Andrew Katz, VP of marketing for Dos Equis, said in a statement. “We know ‘The Most Interesting Man in the World’ will continue to endure and grow, as the character’s story is bigger than one individual. Stay Thirsty isn’t just a tagline — it’s a mind-set Dos Equis embraces daily to connect with our consumer and inspire everything we do.”
