Ta-nehisi Coates‘ highly anticipated take on Marvel’s Black Panther is on shelves today. The idea for Ta-nehisi to write the comic came last year after interviewing Marvel editor Sana Amanat. He’d originally sent a list of characters he’d be interested in writing when first approached with the idea. Ta-nehisi said the character “wasn’t on his list,” but became interested when Marvel told him the Panther would have his own book.

FX will be re-airing the entire season of The People vs. O.J. Simpson this Saturday. The show, based on Jeffrey Tobin’s The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson, was popular on Twitter as users frequently gathered on the app to watch in unison. The last episode aired yesterday and the fact it’s already replaying this weekend might be a testament to its popularity.

Sonia Manzano, also know as “Maria” on Sesame Street, will receive a “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Emmys. Sonia spent forty-five years on the Sesame Street and had many different parts of her life interwoven throughout the show. “Her own life — from teenager through growing up, marrying and becoming a mother — was integrated into the complex social fabric of Sesame Street, the Peyton Place of the pre-pubescent set.”

The new Wonder Woman movie, Wonder Woman, was originally scheduled for release on June 23, 2017. The new date for the movie is in the same month, but three weeks earlier on June 2, 2017.

Cleopatra is getting a new writer. “David Scarpa has come aboard to rewrite Cleopatra, Sony Pictures’ epic project based on the Stacy Schiff bestselling book Cleopatra: A Life.” The movie is still absent release date or director, but getting a writer is assuredly a sign of progress.

Kocktails With Khloe has been canceled. The short lived talk show was led by Khloe Kardashian and began a mere three months ago. No exact word on what the cause for this was, but there will be a “massive” season finale on April 20th.
