Kim Kardashian just can’t help herself. Beyonce ruled the weekend with Lemonade, a visual and touching marvel in support of her album of the same name. On the cover, Beyonce is looking down at the ground with tightly woven braids and a fur with her face concealed.
Earlier today, Kim posted pictures that showed her looking eerily similar to Beyonce’s album cover.
“And while we get that these photos are old, we still can’t help but feel like the timing of the release of these images is ever so slightly suspicious. After all, now that we’ve all seen the cover of Lemonade, it’s going to be pretty much impossible for any other person alive to rock braids, a giant fur, and spandex ensemble without immediately getting compared to Queen Bey.”
Kim making a push for attention wouldn’t be surprising. On Saturday night, she posted pictures of her and her husband on Twitter almost immediately following the conclusion of Beyonce’s HBO special. And while the above photo was taken two months ago (and not the above photo, but the one that closely resembles Beyonce’s album cover), one can’t help but think that Kim’s “look at me” photo was a calculated moved.
