Radiohead is back! It’s been five years since fans have been seduced by the overly emotional but sometimes unintelligible lyrics of Thom Yorke, but the group broke the streak and released their new single today, “Burn The Witch.” Fans and critics were tipped off last night when the group “disappeared” from the internet, creating speculation that a new album was on the way. “Burn The Witch” showed up earlier today and is in support of their new album that may be named Dawn Chorus.

Radiohead has had a history of releasing albums in nontraditional ways.

“The follow-up to the King of Limbs follows the band’s long-standing tradition of releasing albums via non-traditional methods. Famously, in 2007, the band started the company Xurbia Xendless Ltd to distribute In Rainbows, initially letting fans pay whatever they wanted for the release.”

Though there’s no news of a release date, the band is about to start touring again. The tour begins on May 20th in Amsterdam, followed by three consecutive nights at London’s Roundhouse. They will also make their presence felt at currently unnamed festivals.
