“When the praises go up, the blessings come down.”

Well, isn’t that the truth, Chance?

Chance The Rapper stopped by The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to debut a brand new song off his forthcoming mixtape. Following in the same vein of Kanye’s “Ultralight Beam,” Chance The Rapper delivered a hip-hop gospel song titled “Blessings.”

Accompanied by a gospel choir, Donnie Trumpet, Byron Cage, and Jamila Woods, Chance provided an inspirational performance for the late night crowd.

“I know the difference between blessings and worldly possessions/ like my ex girl getting pregnant and her becoming my everything,” rapped Chance.

Following his performance, Chance announced the arrival of his highly anticipated mixtape Chance 3, which is due out next Friday, May 13. Also, look out for Chance’s upcoming collaborations with DJ Khaled and Jay Electronica.
