In March, Justin Bieber canceled all of his scheduled meet-and-greet appearances. He cited comments and his treatment by fans as the reason, saying that he felt “like an animal.” Some were worried that the fame and touring schedule were beginning to wear on him as he said he felt “drained and unhappy … to the point of depression.”

Last month, he was fed up again. He vowed he wouldn’t be taking pictures with anyone because he “doesn’t owe anyone a picture” and that “it doesn’t say in the fine print that whenever you see me you get a photo.” A source close to the 22-year-old said Justin felt “at first it was, ‘I’m so emotionally drained by you guys,’ then he got mad when people started getting mad at him.”

Any reports about him being on the verge of a public meltdown, however, aren’t justified.

“According to the source, Bieber “already feels beat” from his grueling schedule and “is not losing it. He’s just trying to find ways to focus. Visiting parks and meditating calms him.”

Sometimes being famous just doesn’t seem to be all that fun.
