The Rock went on a mini Instagram rant on Tuesday by calling out some of his Fast 8 male co-stars, jokingly referring to them as “candy asses.”
Fans of the franchise went crazy on social media, wondering which of the guys The Rock was specifically talking about in the tirade. Tyrese spoke out on Instagram to clear his name, but claimed he didn’t know exactly who was being targeted in The Rock’s lengthy IG jab.
According to reports, the rant about unprofessional male co-stars was targeted at Vin Diesel and both actors had a secret meeting on set on Tuesday to hash things out. Production sources revealed that The Rock has butted heads with Vin, mostly because Vin is a producer and has made decisions that didn’t sit well with the former wrestling champ.
Tensions were reportedly running so high on set it was almost impossible to shoot scenes. No word on if the actors actually squashed their beef, but almost the entire cast is said to be angry at The Rock for causing a stir just a week-and-a-half before filming ends.
