For Gabriel Aubry it was all good a week ago, but things have taken a turn for the worst with a battle brewing between him and the mother of his daughter, Halle Berry. Is he the media’s victim of baby mama drama without even saying one word publicly? He also has not said a word to Halle Berry, one source reports ‘They were still talking, albeit limitedly, up until a week or so ago, but now, nothing.’

A custody battle can turn parents from former lovers to the biggest enemies, and so seems to be the case here. Alleged voice mails, N-bombs and arguments have turned this once peaceful breakup into a nasty and bitter event. It’s almost like watching Jerry Springer on your day off, okay maybe it’s not that bad but you get the point. 

Baby mama or daddy drama is real, and it’s probably safe to say that regardless of our walk of life, we’ve all witnessed it. We’ve seen our brothers stress over visitation rights, and consoled our sister when she was forced to raise a child on her own. Many men locked in nasty custody battles watch their kids get used as pawns as though life is simply a game. Stereotypes are frequently unfavorable when it comes to men and child-rearing. The fact that Gabriel Aubry filed for custody is an honorable act, and we commend him for wanting to raise his child, a role untraditional in society.
