“I don’t pop Molly I rock Tom Ford.”
Jay-Z dedicated an entire song to the designer that frequently drapes the rapper in tailored suits and it proved two things:
1. It’s a good time to own some Tom Ford and
2. It is a bad time to be a girl named Molly.
The song has proved to be one of the standout tracks from Jigga’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail, and with a bevy of name drops ranging from Miley Cyrus to Tom Ford and of course, the little Princess Blue Ivy, expect plenty of responses, the first of them coming from designer Tom Ford himself:
“I am completely flattered,” Tom Ford tells Billboard. “I mean, come on, who would not want a Jay-Z song named after them?”
Miley also spoke up on Twitter yesterday when Jay was on a very rare #factsonly Twitter spree and stated that “Miley is a GOD. She represents an old worlds worst nightmare. Black neighbor, and the daughter not seeing color.” Miley responded:
Call it what you want. But I don’t see Mr. Carter shoutin any of you bitches out. #twerkmileytwerk ✌
