What is going on with Amanda Bynes?
Her mental instability has landed the troubled star a two-week extension on her 5150 psychiatric hold, her parents are fighting to control her cash through a temporary conservatorship – and they have great reason.
Amanda is estimated to have spent $1.4M in just one month. She also claims to have taken a cab from NY to LA recently. Within that same time period she also withdrew $100,000 from the bank – twice, wrote a number of checks that amount to $63,000, and spent a shit load of cash on drugs.
Amongst her parents’ concerns are what they call her “profound issues with her body image” and obsession “with the fact that she (and others) are ugly.” [Drake has definitely received his fair share of “ugly” comment from AB]
Amanda believes she is being held in the psychiatric hospital illegally, and would like to present her case to the judge once more after her new meds kick in.
According to TMZ, the hearing she requested was cancelled as she thinks she can make a better presentation when the medicine takes full affect.
Unfortunately, if a judge allows her to leave earlier than expected, Amanda will still have a lot of issues on her hands when she gets out, that includs her $9,000 tab at the Ritz-Carlton in NYC, including damages for “piles of of garbage, ashes, cosmetics, and even a destroyed smoke alarm.”
