We can’t get enough of the talented singer and eclectic fashion muse, Solange Knowles. It’s safe to say we’re obsessed with her Brooklyn style and extensive wardrobe, so it was a pleasant surprise to see Solange as the face on the cover of this month’s Net-a-Porter “The Edit.”

For the shoot, the Texan-born beauty headed off to the island of Croatia with her team to shoot some breathtaking snapshots. But the traveling didn’t stop there, as the True singer then headed to Senegal for the corresponding magazine interview.

Rocking some gorgeous beach wear, a simple natural look and the long braids we all love, Ms. Knowles makes us fall in love with her even more. Check out some of the snaps from the editorial below, as well as some excerpts from the corresponding interview.

We all may know her as Beyonce’s cool little sister, but Solange has created a unique image for herself.

She says:

“It’s all just been an evolution. I’ve been able to watch such an incredible performer as my sister close-up. It’s molded me. And now I’m letting my son watch me.”

On her admirable style:

“Style in anything is very important. It’s how we express our individuality, who we are and what we believe in. It’s all a reflection of who I am.”

The mother and girlfriend to director, Alan Ferguson, reveals:

“I’m having the time of my life. I have one of the best jobs in the world, and to be able to [perform] for an hour a day and make a career out of it, I’m incredibly humbled by it.”

Head to Net-A-Porter’s The Edit to read the rest of the article and get all Solange’s looks from the shoot.
