A man showed up at the South Miami Police station on Thursday and admitted to killing his wife. Shortly after, police found her body.
A child was also found on the scene unharmed. After the murder, Derek Medina posted the graphic photos of his wife’s body on his Facebook page. The photos show a woman bent over backwards with her knees bent, her face and arm covered in blood.
He also posted an alleged confession on the social media page:
Im going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife love you guys miss you guys takecare Facebook people you will see me in the news my wife was punching me and I am not going to stand anymore with the abuse so I did what I did I hope u understand me
South Miami Police are handing the case over to Miami-Dade Police.
