The label woes are real out here.
Sri Lankan rapper M.I.A. joins a long list of artists who have issues with their record labels. The “Bad Girls” rapper aired out her frustrations with her label, Interscope, regarding the release of her long-awaited album, Matangi.

If interscope takes longer i can always leak this next week and make a new one by the time they are ready.

Earlier this year, M.I.A. was spotting hanging in the studio with “N*ggas In Paris” producer Hit-Boy and Atlanta rapper Ludacris. When M.I.A. wasn’t fighting with the label, she managed to release three new tracks, “Only 1 U,” “Bring The Noize,” and “Matangi Mixtape.”
M.I.A.’s Matangi album was originally set to be released earlier this spring. Hopefully, M.I.A. and Interscope can work things out, so fans will have Matangi on their iTunes before the year is out.
