She’s lost one son in a tragic jet ski incident and most recently, her 5-year-old nearly drowned to death in a pool. That’s definitely enough to sadden the strongest of people. But while speaking on the latest accident, Tameka’s focus was mostly on Usher Raymond V’shealth and strengthening her rights to custody as a mom in the near future.
Tameka also admits that she does not blame Usher for what happened – he wasn’t there when their son’s hand got caught in the drain at the bottom of the pool – but also makes it clear, it wouldn’t have happened had she been there. She explained to Good Morning America’s Dan Abrams:
“I didn’t blame him for it. I was just angry that it happened on his watch. Never have my children been injured on my watch.”
Like we said before, these kind of tragedies more than shake a person… especially a mom. Hopefully Usher and his ex-wifecan come to a better agreement that makes both parents comfortable. Check out the very candid interview below:
