It’s been two weeks since the release of “Control,” the Big Sean-track that features Kendrick Lamar calling himself the “King of New York,” as well as calling out every relevant rapper in the game.

Since the track was released, we’ve heard everyone respond to it – everyone but Kendrick himself.

That’s going to change soon.

Tomorrow morning, Big Boy’s neighborhood will air an interview with the Compton spitter. Not only that, K.Dot will also appear on Hot 97’s morning show with Peter Rosenberg.

Leading up to the anticipation, Big Boy has released a short snippet of the interview.

Here’s what he said:

“I think that’s a case where I maybe had to dumb down my lyrics just a little bit. The irony of that line is that the people that actually understood it and got it was the actual kings of New York. We’ve been down with them this past week, and them understanding that it’s not about actually being the King of whatever coast, it’s about leaving the mark as great as Biggie as great as Pac.”

Can’t wait to hear what else he got to say!

Listen to the snippet below.
