The medical examiner who performed Trayvon Martin’s autopsy has been terminated from his position as associate medical examiner for Seminole/Volusia County.
But not everything is what it seems.
A Politic365 exclusive reveals that the reasons behind Dr. Shipping Bao’s termination are a bit suspect.
A source close to the situation indicated Dr. Bao’s dismissal was related to his testimony in the Zimmerman trial. An investigation by the EEOC surrounding the circumstances of his termination is currently being undertaken. Powerhouse attorney Willie Gary is representing Dr. Bao in a lawsuit against the county. Gary, 66, is a legendary and highly regarded attorney based in Florida.
If you recall, Dr. Bao’s memorable testimony was cut short by both the defense and the prosecution, which rang odd to some, as the medical examiner’s observations could have turned the case around.
That Dr. Bao’s testimony was cut short may have been a factor in the jury’s conclusion.
Seems like more is coming out about this case now, rather than when it counted in the courtroom.
