This is sad.
After years of partnership, Lola Monroe and Wiz Khalifa‘s Taylor Gang music label have parted ways. It’s also been confirmed that Taylor Gang producer Cardo has been cut from the label’s roster.
In a recent statement released to XXL, a Taylor Gang executive made the announcement stating:
“After years of helping build their careers, we did not feel as if the relationships were mutually beneficial. We wish LoLa and Cardo the best but hope they move on in their respective directions without affiliating themselves to the Taylor Gang brand or name.”
In late 2012, a very pregnant Lola Monroe toured with the Taylor Gang family on their “2050” tour. After giving birth to her son Brixton Royal, the new mommy has been all about her son and the studio, but she’ll no longer be TG affiliated.
Neither Lola or Wiz Khalifa have spoken about the matter, but we hope everyone has received the closure they were seeking.
