The past few weeks have been a struggle for Khloe Kardashian Odom. The 29-year-old has been fighting to win her husband back from his alleged severe drug addiction.
Former NBA baller Lamar Odom was arrested and charged with one count of DUI recently. Odom reportedly checked himself into rehab only to check out less than 24 hours later. Multiple women have also come forward claiming to have had sexual relationships with Lamar.
E! News reports that Khloe is doing her best to stay strong through this difficult time; She has switched her focus from her husband to herself, looking out for her own mental and physical well-being. The youngest Kardashian sister has allegedly tried multiple times to intervene and save her husband from his cocaine addiction.
“She is still obviously very upset, but life is starting to move on for her and for the rest of the family,” a source told E! “No more interventions, no more trying to save him.”
Khloe is surrounding herself with family and friends and has returned to work, filming their reality TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She has been photographed numerous times shopping, dining with family and checking up on her clothing store DASH.
The insider claims that Khloe tried numerous times to get her hubby to seek treatment following his DUI.
“Khloe gave Lamar and ultimatum: If he didn’t get help, she’d end the marriage,” the source explained. “So far, he’s ignoring her.”
Kardashian has done everything in her power to save her husband; She’s now coming to terms with the fact that there’s nothing more she can do.
“It is what it is. She’s trying to just live her life, even though it’s very separate from the life he’s living,” the source claims.
Since his alleged drug problem spiraled out of control, the bond between Khloe and Lamar has taken a back seat. The insider believes that despite Khloe staying by her man’s side through the drug-drama, their relationship will ultimately end in divorce saying “divorce seems imminent.”
“It’s not at the point where she’s ready to file divorce papers,” the source said. “But she’s pretty much given up trying to save the marriage.”
Khloe’s not the only one jumping ship. Her family, who previously urged her to make things work, now just want to see her get out while she can.
“They want to support her and keep her spirits up,” the source explained.
Kardashian has yet to speak out about her current situation, but has hinted at the pain she feels through cryptic tweets and captions on Instagram. Most recently she shared a photo of a masked woman with this heartbreaking quote,
“She smiles to mask the pain in her heart. She laughs to conceal the tears in her eyes.”
