When things get quiet in the studio, it leaves plenty of time to think about what the next career move should be, and when you’ve covered as many platforms as Pharrell Williams, the next move is always the best move.

What is Pharrell’s latest move, you ask? Well, it is to get his hand on a part of the multi-billion dollar fragrance industry. In a recent interview with Details magazine, the artist formally known as Skateboard P confirmed that he is working on the release of his very own scent.

While the news was broken in a Details Magazine interview, there were ironically very few actual details surrounding the new fragrance, but when it came to describing what goes into creating a product he told the magazine,

“I create based on what I feel like is missing. You jump in and follow your gut. It’s like a sculpture—you’re just adding on more clay, you’re chiseling away and adding on until you feel like it’s done, and you stand back and go, ‘Oh! It’s a person.'”

While Pharrell is cooking in the lab, Roc Nation’s Rita Ora has taken on another role herself.

The UK native has suitingly signed on to collaborate on a line with Rimmel London. Rita Ora and Rimmel London are teaming up to bring us a new makeup collection that’ll launch in February. The collection will focus on nail polish and lipstick, and all the things we adore.

Beauty all around! Beauty for everyone! We’ll be keeping an eye out for these collaborations.
