It came as a surprise to many when Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy announced he was signing Compton rapper YG to his CTE label, but the two unlikely comrades have built a Ford tough friendship, and no one’s getting in the way of their new movement.
GlobalGrind caught up with the Cali rapper to discuss how he formed a friendship with Young Jeezy, signing with the Atlanta rapper, his forthcoming new album, and touring with Yo Gotti.
YG’s forthcoming album, My Krazy Life, is scheduled to be released in November 2013. YG fans can catch the Compton rapper on his “I Am” tour with Atlanta rapper Yo Gotti.
