The murder case of Aaron Hernandez is really taking a toll on his loved ones.
This week, the girlfriend of the former New England Patriots star was indicted for perjury after being connected to the murder of his friend.
According to the NY Post, Shayanna Jenkins was indicted on one count for the murder of Odin Lloyd, along with Tanya Singleton, Hernandez’s cousin.
The site reports:
Earlier Friday, a grand jury also indicted a second Hernandez associate, Carlos Ortiz, on a accessory to murder charge in connection with the Lloyd killing. Until now, Ortiz had been facing only a gun charge in connection with the case. He pleaded not guilty to that charge.
It looks like there’s no one safe in this trial, and we pray for the families of Shayanna Jenkins and Aaron Hernandez during this time.
