It was a star-studded weekend in Los Angeles, as the industry’s elite gathered to celebrate the L.A. County Museum of Art’s third annual Art + Film Gala honoring filmmaker Martin Scorsese and artist David Hockney.
The black tie event featured a crowd of film industry luminaries from New York to L.A., as they celebrated the arts and dug deep in their pockets and purses to raise over $4 million in funds for LACMA. Charity talk aside, those in attendance brought their A-game when it came to dressing the part, but it seemed like new moms and expectant moms were the ones really bringing the fashion heat.
Mary J. Blige and her beau Kendu Isaacs looked like black excellence on the blue carpet, as Mary donned a raspberry Gucci Spring 2014 jumpsuit with black trim, while new mommy Fergie opted out of wearing the designer of the night for a black Versace backless dress.
New mommy Drew Barrymore played it loose in a Vivienne Westwood Anglomania ‘Twisted Puusti’ dress from the Fall 2013 collection, and it turns out she was hiding a baby bump under that flowy dress. It was just announced that the actress and her hubby Will Kopelman are expecting their second child.
She spoke with InStyle in their September issue preluding the pregnancy, saying that she wanted daughter Olive, 13 months, to have siblings.
“Some people love it and thrive on the independence, but I want my kids to have other kids around. Maybe two kids so they can run around life together, roll their eyes at their parents together like Rusty and Audrey Griswold from [National Lampoon’s] Vacation. So however that’s going to come about, it’s gonna happen!”
Gorgeous as always, Zoe Saldana stunned in a custom Gucci gown.
Sultry as per her usual, Salma Hayek showed off her enviously perfect curves in an embellished Gucci gown. Look at that waist!
Olivia Wilde was already glowing with no baby bump in sight, as she opted for a custom black halter gown featuring leather trim and an open back from Gucci.
And alas, lingerie model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked stunning in embellished Gucci.
