Tyga is teaming up with Justin Bieber and taking it to the “next level” in the Matrix-inspired video for their new song “Wait a Minute.”
The Maejor Ali-produced song was recorded for Bieber’s last album, but will now serve as the first single off of Tyga’s upcoming The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty.
The “Rack City” rapper assured fans that this video, shot in Long Beach, C.A., is going to be nothing short of epic, explaining the concept behind the special effects:
“We got some of the guys that do CGI for some of the big movies. We’re freezing time and switching different worlds trying to get away from certain things—the negative that comes with the lifestyle.”
Fitting, as Bieber can’t seem to stay out of the news. For TRaww, the song is reminiscent of the #1 hit “Deuces” with Chris Brown.
“I felt like when me and Chris [Brown] did ‘Deuces,’ it was like a moment. I feel like this would be a big moment for both of us with this song.”
One thing is for sure, this is going to be a certified banger.
