Everyone’s story is begging to be told, but neither one of their narratives will be identical – much like the skate decks launched by Narrative_ for their latest endeavor.
The advertising agency celebrated its launch back in April and has been making creatively infused strides forward since. To celebrate the projection of their innovative vision, Narrative_ launched a collection of skate decks that narrate the fusion of design, pleasing aesthetics and music icons for the boards that can be punctuated with your own story.
The five skateboards in the collection celebrate artists that range from Jay Z to Michael Jackson and the Beatles, artists who have fused their talents to tell the story of their artistry.
Narrative_ explained the selection of the boards with a release that read:
We chose to produce skateboard decks because to us, it’s such an inspired canvas because of what it represents and the values it’s enabled culturally. It’s gritty, it’s fluid, and people can do things with them that are ridiculously bold and borderline insane, but even then it’s become a massive movement that spawned others.
A board is an incredibly personal item. Although simple in concept, it comes to life with each design, and gets more complex in its meaning when it’s mounted, gets scuffs from usage and even breaks. In that sense, it was just such a raw and alive canvas we loved exploring.
