While Americans were indulging in one of the rare holidays where glutton is encouraged, Alicia Keys skipped the States to head Down Under and steal the show at the 27th Annual ARIA Awards 2013 held at the Star in Sydney.
Escaping the cold weather blues, Alicia slipped into a stunning yellow Stella McCartney dress with illusion panels and a metallic belted waist. If the look seems a little familiar, it’s because we have seen it quite a few times, most notably on Gwyneth Paltrow when she did it first at the 2012 Grammy Awards. And according to Red Carpet Fashion Awards, a version of this gown was crowned the title of the most-worn dress of 2012.
Later in the night, Alicia gave the Stella dress a break as she wore two more looks on stage while presenting and performing. Both were by Australian designers, Manning Cartell and Toni Maticevski, respectively.
We love the look in yellow, but could have done without the necklace that isn’t necessary with a high neckline like this one.
