Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is NOT the father!
According to the rumor mill, Evelyn Lozada is newly boo’ed up with Carl Crawford, an LA Dodgers baseball player. And since she recently announced her pregnancy, Ev left the world wondering: is this Carl’s kid?
Since the Basketball Wives star responded to a fan who asked if it was Ocho’s with a “Hell no!” (more or less), we have to assume the baby daddy of her second child is Carl.
Here’s the 411 on Evelyn Lozada’s alleged baby father.
Carl is 32-years-old, plays as an outfielder for the LA Dodgers, and is under contract for four more seasons at $89 million.
For all of you baseball heads: As of this month, he will be finishing out 2013 with a .283 batting average, 30 doubles, six homers, 31 RBI, 62 runs, and 15 stolen bases in 19 attempts.
He grew up as a Fifth Ward native in Houston, Texas. Carl attended Jefferson Davis High School and was a letterman in football, baseball, and basketball. (Evelyn has a thing for a handsome jock!)
In 2007 while playing MLB for the Devil Rays, he became the first Devil Ray to receive the “All-Star” title and honor more than once. In 2010, he signed a 7-year $142 million contract with the Boston Red Sox.
In August of last year, Carl was traded to the LA Dodgers and rest is history.
We have a feeling we’re about to see a lot more of this man in the public eye…
