PONY may be a product of New York, but when it comes to their collaborations, the brand has a global view. In the past, we’ve lusted over PONY collabos from Dee and Ricky and the like, but in 2014, the brand is bringing it even harder with two collaborations that are worth placing on your “need” list.

PONY’s latest collaborations are two separate ventures that play up the same theme: the importance of New York City as its playground. Check out their most recent collabos below.

PONY x Colette:

Colette – a community, an institution, and game-changing inspirational shop – was one of the very first European stores to put PONY on shop stands, and this year, the brands re-enforce their tight connection by taking their partnership to the next level. The collaboration transforms an iconic silhouette of PONY, the Topstar, fused with Colette’s Pantone color, a sapphire blue, forming a Ying Yang Balance into the perfect shoe to rep NYC from JFK to Paris.

The collection is available at colette.fr and in stores for $138 USD (100 Euros) and $124 USD (90 Euros) respectively for the two sneakers in the collection.

PONY x Rothco:

This is where the real hometown pride comes into play. The two Manhattan originals have allied this fall to present a military-inspired capsule collection that brings forward three hybrid pieces between army and urban gear: boots, jackets and backpack. The collection is all about materializing the legend of two business titans who have been through the thick of it, while still preserving a potent presence. It’s available at PONY.com. As a bonus, the collaboration includes a video featuring the founders of PONY and Rothco under one roof.
