Police in Clayton County, Georgia are investigating the shooting death of popular DJ Nando, real name Fernando, which occurred early morning Tuesday.
He was shot outside of a home on Oak Mill Court, in a neighborhood off Mt. Zion Road.
Clayton County police said officers found a man shot in the head on Oak Mill Court just before 4 a.m. Investigators do not believe the shooting was related to a home invasion.
Police have not released a motive or a description.
Police have yet to release the name of the victim, but Nando’s friends, including Young Dro and Jermaine Dupri, took to Twitter to express their grief:
