Sure, the Seattle Seahawks won their first Super Bowl ever on Sunday, but the standout player of last night’s game was hardly MVP Malcolm Smith.

Well, not to animal activists anyway. It was Joe Namath, the former New York Jets player who took his love for fur to a new level when he wore an extravagant cloak of softness out on the sidelines.

And not surprisingly, his duds caused quite an uproar on the internet. So much so, that PETA decided to weigh in:

Ouch. Fur lover or animal rights activist, you have to admit that picture hits you right where it’s supposed to.
