Ever wonder what goes into landing a role in a major Hollywood film?

With its ten-year anniversary just days away, Mean Girls star Daniel Franzese, better known as Damian, sat down to talk about the movie and what it was like working with Lindsay Lohan. During his interview, Franzese revealed the trick that won over the casting team.

“I sat in the waiting room in character as Damian, commenting on anything and everything I could. Amanda Seyfried had come in for her test and she was wondering aloud, “Should I wear this beige shirt of should I wear this maroon shirt?” Mark Waters, the director and Tina Fey had their backs to me, and I said, “I’d go with the merlot.” I don’t even know where that line came from, but they both whipped around and started laughing. They went on with the audition with Amanda and then the casting assistant said, “Hey, it’s your turn next.” I walked into the room and Mark and Tina were like, “You?! We thought you worked here; we didn’t know you were auditioning. Now we’re excited – we like you!” It was a really great way to come in and get noticed. But then, according to the E! True Hollywood Story, Mark said my audition wasn’t very good, but that they just really liked me anyway.”

Daniel then went on to talk about what it was like working with the comedic duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

“Tina was still the head writer of SNL so she was back and forth between the set in Toronto and New York, and Amy was still on SNL as well. They would come in Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for the film, and go back Thursday, Friday and Saturday to prep for the SNL broadcast. But when they were in town we did hang out. We hung out with Amy a lot; Tina isn’t crazy about flying, so they would drive her in from New York. And Amy would just go on Lorne’s jet so she’d get in sooner and just be around a lot more. The wrap party was insane – it was karaoke. I just remember singing “Love Shack” with Amy, and later me and Lizzy doing back up for her on Eminem songs.”

He also touched a bit on the Mean Girls reunion fans have been holding their breath for. Though Tina shut down the idea, Daniel said there may be a little something in the works! Find out what else the actor had to say over at Jezebel.

Speaking of epic reunions, it’s time to stop dreaming about a Friends reunion.

According to the show’s co-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane, they have considered reuniting the cast 20 years after the show’s initial debut. But…

“Honestly, I have to go back to: The show is over. What was at the heart of the show is done. And let’s be honest, it’s 20 years later,” Kauffman told Entertainment Weekly. “Nobody looks like they did then. And you’re going to spend the whole time going, ‘Wow, he’s aged. Or she’s…'”

The rumor first hit the internet in 2013 after a radio station shared some fan art about a Thanksgiving reunion. Naturally, there was no Thanksgiving reunion, but it got people talking and they haven’t stopped since. Numerous cast members have addressed the rumors, shooting them down, but fans just couldn’t let go of the hope.

“If any one wants Friends, turn on your TV! Amazingly, thank God, it’s there. And these are all great actors that you’re seeing all the time in other things,” Crane said. “Marta and I’ve talked about this a lot: People say the want it, and the more that we say it’s a bad idea, people disagree. But I think if we actually gave it to people, there would be such backlash.”

*Sigh* It’s time to face the facts: It’s just not happening.

Scandal may be over for the season, but we’ve got a little something to hold you over until the start of season four.

The show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, took to the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about the fate of Harrison and much, much more. She also gifted Gladiators with a never before seen blooper reel from the cast.

During her sit-down with Jimmy Kimmel, Shonda revealed she intentionally created the show to be fast paced and wants viewers to feel “like you can’t do other things.” Though that hasn’t stopped dedicated fans from live tweeting each and every episode.

She also said Scandal fans shouldn’t think there’s no chance of Olivia Pope leaving D.C.

“There’s possibilities,” she said.

Anyone who says they’ve never been forced to face the dreaded walk of shame is totally lying.

Well, you no longer need to feel ashamed. Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden know your pain all too well and they’re taking it to the silver screen. Banks stars in Walk of Shame as an up and coming TV reporter who can’t catch a break. After losing out on her dream job, she and her girls do what all scorned women do – they hit the town. After one too many cocktails, Banks’ character finds herself stranded – at least, until her knight in shining armor, played by Marsden, shows up.

Cedric The Entertainer’s got a new look and you’ve got to see it to believe it.

Jheri curls, bell bottoms, and rose-colored glasses have taken over the actor’s wardrobe – no, he didn’t get a makeover. Cedric recently landed a new role as Reverend Boyce ‘The Voice’ Ballentine and he’s got the backing of some serious names in the music industry.

Check out what B.o.B, Judith Hill, Elle Varner and more have to say about the Rev and his legendary music.
