R&B Divas Atlanta is back!
As the highly anticipated show returns to TV One on Wednesday, April 23rd, fans are super excited that the wait is finally over.
Not only will we get to catch up with original cast members Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt, Angie Stone, and Monifah Carter, but we’ll be introduced to the lives of former Destiny’s Child member, Latavia Roberson, and former 702 lead singer, Meelah Williams.
As these women work on their individual careers, they will also be working on personal milestones, their relationships with one another, and new beginnings.
The girls are focused, looking good, and ready to take their talents and lives to the next level this season. Meet our favorite cast members and check out a clip from the Season 2 finale to jump back into the Divas drama!
KeKe Wyatt
After her popular collaboration with Avant on his platinum album, My Thoughts, KeKe has always been recognized as having one of the most beautiful voices in the industry. Now, the R&B Diva is returning to the reality tv show and she’s bringing the “drama.”
LaTavia Roberson
LaTavia is reclaiming the spotlight, as she joins the cast of R&B Divas in its third season. The former member of Destiny’s Child – one of the world’s best-selling girls groups of all time – is ready to reclaim her fate, with one simple acknowledgment… and that is: “Destiny changes.”
Syleena Johnson
If loving Syleena is wrong, we don’t want to be right. Her voice – straight out of Chicago and respected by the masses – is a force to be reckoned with. After a dramatic first two seasons, Syleena wants us all to know that we may call it “drama,” but she calls it “diva.”
Meelah Williams
Everyone who’s anyone knows 702’s Meelah Williams. Her success is no surprise as she comes straight out of Las Vegas, the infamous show town better known as Sin City. Having already gained the respect of some of the best in the business during her time as the Motown 1990s trio’s lead singer, Meelah will fit right in with these divas. Because after all, she’s one herself.
Monifah Carter
She’s a vet, but Monifah Carter will always bring something special to the R&B Divas table. With her knack for keeping it real, this Spanish Harlem-bred brings worldly conversations to the table as an African American, lesbian woman. You’ve got to love Mo, and if not – well, she’d have no problem letting you know that’s your loss.
Angie Stone
When you think R&B Soul, you’ve got to think Angie Stone. With four top 10 albums and over 5 million sold worldwide, this singer/songwriter straight out of South Carolina is nothing to play with. Angie’s got an “umph” we just can’t describe, which is why this R&B diva is right at home.
