Bibby’s back with round two.

After the success of his Free Crack mixtape back in November, Chicago rapper Lil Bibby is returning with his follow-up, Free Crack II. In a recent interview with VIBE’s Mikey Fresh, Bibby revealed he’s recorded over 20 songs for his forthcoming project.

Mikey Fresh: Speaking of checks, when is the album coming?
Lil Bibby: Well, I got an EP that is going to be called The Book but I’m thinking about dropping a mixtape before the album, too. I got about 20 new songs done but they all sound like album material so I just don’t know yet.

You mentioned J. Cole, Young Thug and Kevin Gates as some artists that you plan to work with but who else is on your wish list?
We need Chris Brown to get out because I need a record with him man. I haven’t met him yet but I know some people that are really tight with him. Right now, I’m just working, trying to get my face out and find the right single but Chris Brown is one of the coldest, man.

Bibby recently made headlines as one of 10 chosen rappers included in XXL Magazine’s coveted Freshmen Class issue. This year’s “Dirty Dozen” featured 10 rising rappers and for the first time in XXL history, two R&B singers.

Stay tuned for more info on Free Crack II‘s release.
