Beyonce has been revamping her image this year – between asking the driver to roll up the Partition on her self-titled album, getting super sexy in the accomapnying visuals, and playing a gangster chick in Jay’s “On The Run” trailer, it’s easy to see we’ve got a whole new Bey on our hands. And we love it.
Surprisingly though, one of the tougher rappers in the industry, 50 Cent, will attest to the fact that Bey’s been tough and down for her man, saying in a recent interview with The Breakfast club that one time the Houston native “bugged out” on him when she thought he and Jay had problems.
50 said:
One time [Beyoncé] jumped off of a ledge and came running over cause she thought me and Jay had issues. And I’m like, “What the f-ck? Did she really just jump and run up on me like that?”
We was at the Cosmopolitan [hotel]. She jumped out and was like this, “What?! That Bonnie and Clyde forreal! You try this or what, boy?! I’m here!” She bugged out at me. I looked and Jay starts laughing. He’s like, “Yo, you know what it is.” I said, “Oh sh-t! What the f-ck y’all got going on, man?” Bey jumped down off of that joint like, “What?! Wassup?!” Matter of fact, Floyd [Mayweather] was there. We were in the Cosmopolitan in Vegas and I was bringing him to say wassup to Jay because Jay don’t really like him.
What he’s trying to say is: The capital B really is for “‘Bout that life!” 50 also goes on to talk about a few of the many women he’s dated in the industry, Solange’s elevator fight with Jay Z, and more.
