R&B lovers, are you craving some from new music from the man who gave us classics singles like, “Brown Sugar” and albums like Voodoo?
Well according to his manager, Kevin Liles, D’Angelo’s upcoming project is coming out sooner than you think. There is also an upcoming international tour scheduled to begin in October 2014. According to Liles:
“There’ll be an album this year: there’s 14 records so far, we might have a couple of bonus records, but all the recording is basically done and we’re mixing and mastering now. Definitely, he’ll be back.
The unnamed album will have D’Angelo’s signature soul sound as well an incorporation of rock influences as well. Let’s just hope we won’t have to wait another 10 years for the anticipated album.
