On Friday night, Big Sean and Curren$y hosted an exclusive concert with Complex Magazine and Coors Light Axis at the 1896 Club in Brooklyn, NY. Coors Light Axis is the new music platform to present an up close and personal in-depth look at music artists.

The event began with a press briefing, where both artists answered questions about working with Coors Light, together as artists, their opinions on Ferguson, fashion inspiration, and much, much more.

When asked about Ferguson, Curren$y took the mic and responded with a deep statement:

“Sometimes you have to destroy in order to rebuild.”

After the briefing, the two rappers hit the stage and performed in front of an exclusive audience with a great performance. Curren$y had tons of fan members showing love at the concert, singing along every single lyric to his most popular Pilot Talk series.

After the performance, he surprised fans with two guests: New York natives Jadakiss and Styles P.

After Curren$y, Detroit rapper Big Sean graced the stage, beginning with the famous “Don’t Play” by Travi$ Scott. From there, Big Sean performed hits from his last album Hall of Fame, his greatest features, and big songs from his debut Finally Famous.

Alongside the awesome performances and intimate Q&A, the event provided free t-shirts for all attendees, free food, and tons of swag. Coors Light Axis threw a really fine event on a Friday night in Brooklyn.
