Guess Drake won’t be signing to Hit-Boy, because the hits are over.
That statement may be a little melodramatic, but according to the “N*ggas In Paris” producer, he’s stepping away from the boards and embarking on a new journey.
After sending out a few cryptic tweets about “being distracted” and taking “full responsibility,” Hit-Boy dropped a bomb by simply announcing he’s retiring from music industry production.

Unfortunately, Hit-Boy didn’t elaborate on his future plans, but we can only guess that he’ll focus more time on being an artist or cultivating his label HS87.
Over the years, Hit-Boy has worked with A-list artists like Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and so many more.
We’re hoping Hit-Boy is just pulling a Jay Z, and will come out of retirement in 2015.
