The Giudices’ idea of a family photo has definitely changed over the past few months.
Joe Giudice took his four daughters to visit their mom, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, as she serves her time in prison for fraud charges. The photo was taken in the visitation room at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut and is the cover photo of US Weekly‘s upcoming issue.
In the mag, the family finally opens up about their new life with Teresa behind bars, Joe as a single parent, and his own subsequent incarceration when Teresa gets home after her 15-month sentence. Joe revealed:
“I cry more than the girls. I pretty much cry every time I leave [visitation]. Like a little baby.”
Teresa isn’t dealing with the separation extremely well either. She told US, “I miss Joe and my girls terribly.”
But according to sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, Joe is doing a great job being a single dad. She told Bravo’s Andy Cohen:
“I pass him in the morning, and he’s driving the girls to school. And I usually pass Teresa every morning. It’s heartwarming to see him. He’s manning up, and he’s doing what he has to do.”
