As you likely already know, the highly anticipated movie Straight Outta Compton, a critically acclaimed biopic about the gangsta rap group N.W.A., begins rolling out on Thursday night. Reports surfaced earlier today that Universal Studios would help pay for extra security in some theaters, however, the company recently issued a statement saying that’s not completely true.

According to NBC News, Universal said, “the studio has not solicited enhanced security for theaters who will begin showing it this weekend but has partnered with those exhibitors who have requested support for their locations.”

Movie theater security has become an increasingly prominent issue lately, especially after last month’s shooting in Louisiana, when a man randomly killed two women during a screening of Trainwreck.

The official teaser trailer for The Hateful Eight, Quentin Tarantino‘s newest film coming to theaters this Christmas, is now available for viewing on YouTube. The story follows a group of Wyoming bounty hunters who get involved in a deceitful plot while trying to find shelter during a blizzard. Like most Tarantino films, The Hateful Eight has an absolutely stacked staff, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Channing Tatum, and Kurt Russell. Watch the trailer above.

A sequel to The Lego Movie is currently in the works, after the first film turned out to be a massive success in animation. This next take on the Lego series, The Lego Batman Movie, will surely be the funniest Batman film to date, considering Zach Galifianakis is taking the role of The Joker. If you’re a Bob’s Burgers fan, you’re well aware that Galifianakis has basically mastered the act of creating a deranged character with only his voice. We can’t wait to see how this performance turns out – The Lego Batman Movie is due out in theaters on February 10th, 2017.

The Real Housewives are back, and so is Teresa Giudice. We know that you’re thinking, isn’t she like… in jail? Well, an insider told Us Weekly that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is set to rejoin the show after she completes her 15-month jail sentence for fraud this December. In the meantime, Teresa is working on a memoir, which will give people the inside scoop on her time behind bars – prison fights, prison food, and all. Those involved in the show seem very excited to have Giudice back on board. One source went as far as to say, “There is no Jersey without Teresa.” Stay tuned.

Ice Cube is on a real roll lately, as a trailer for what looks like an absolutely hilarious sequel surfaced on YouTube today. If you got a kick out of Ride Along, you’re in luck, because Universal just released the official trailer for Ride Along 2. The sequel stars, of course, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, the year’s most popular comedy duo. The movie won’t be out in theaters until January 2016, but you can catch the trailer now, above.
