Playboy Magazine recently announced they’d be turning it down a notch when it comes to the nudity. The infamous men’s magazine is going PG, as the company’s chief executive claimed, “You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passé at this juncture.”

But by making Pamela Anderson the cover girl of their January/February 2016 issue, the magazine’s last to include full-on nudity, Playboy is going out on a high note. Anderson, who has been on the cover of the magazine 14 times, revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she “got a call from Hef’s attorney who said, ‘We don’t want anybody else. There’s nobody else, could you do the last cover of Playboy?’”

The 48-year-old said she received a lot of support about her decision to pose again. She asked her oldest son for permission, and said that Hugh Hefner was supportive the entire time. “Well Hef always told me, he goes, ‘From Marilyn [Monroe] to you, I made this magazine for a girl like you.’ And I love him so much, he’s such a sweetheart,” she said.

The unforgettable issue hits stands this Friday.
