And while we’re all reflecting on the year in Future, don’t get it twisted: it’s been quite the year in style, too. From the breathtaking gowns (oh, Lupita) to the revealing stunners (hello, J.Lo) we still haven’t stopped thinking about the flawless looks that left us green with envy.
With holiday shopping winding down and New Year’s Eve right around the corner, there’s no better time to bring you the best dressed celebrities of 2015 – including the kids, because they’re just too adorable to ignore.
5. Pharrell
The CDFA’s Fashion Icon Of The Year has even been credited for inspiring Kanye West. From his Billionaire Boys clothing line to the classic Ice Creams he once promoted in his music videos, Pharrell’s stamp on fashion and streetwear is undeniable. We’re glad he decided to phase out the hat this year, but his savvy sense of style is here to stay.
Kendall’s ability to slay on and off the runway has played a big role in her rise to becoming one of the hottest supermodels of 2015. Compared to the personal style of her very famous siblings, this Jenner opts for simpler looks complete with fashionable staple pieces and a dash of fierce, sometimes through a daring cut, an accent of fur, or killer over-the-knee boots.
3. Zendaya
Zendaya’s fame rose to new heights this year and throughout it all, she’s never shied away from taking fashion risks. Whether the faux dreadlocks she wore to the GRAMMYs, or that time she shut down Paris Fashion Week with multiple outfit changes, this former Disney star has made it clear that she’s not interested in being placed into a box. And we’re loving every minute of it.
J.Lo’s tendency to flat-out win every red carpet in 2015 has earned her the title of Queen in our books. At 46 years old, she’s looking better than ever and she’s not afraid to flaunt it. The blue gown she donned as the host at the American Music Awards took our breath away, and it was only one of her many stunning looks that night.
Her ability to flawlessly execute the concrete catwalk and the red carpet lands Solange at the top of our list. No matter the location or occasion, her eccentric and unique, yet very fashion-forward personal taste always shines through in her style choices. Not to mention, she pulls off looks that most of us, including other celebrities, could not. When it comes to fashion, Solange doesn’t get the full credit she deserves. We see you, though!
