Continue the 2016 slay, Queen.
A preview has surfaced of Beyonce‘s feature in Garage magazine. In the photo, Bey serves face to the camera as she peers over her shoulder and rocks blonde cornrows. The hairstyle’s been labeled “trendy” in recent days, even though women of color have been wearing it for centuries.
Women including Beyonce, who’s been sporting the braids since at least 2001. Here’s the proof:
No word yet on when Bey’s full feature in Garage will be released, but from the looks of it, it’s bound to be amazing. According to the Bey Hive, she’ll become the subject of artist Urs Fischer‘s new paintings in the issue.
We’ll have to wait and see the official outcome.
