New Jersey rapper RetcH is facing 10 to 20 years for allegedly breaking and entering a residence with a firearm.

The 23-year-old rapper, born Brian L. Onfroy Jr., is fighting three charges that hold a minimum sentence of 10 years with a maximum sentence of 20 years.

NJ.com reports:

Brian L. Onfroy Jr., 23, of 12th Street, is charged with entering the residence while armed, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, using a 17-year-old or younger to, or conspire to, enter a residence and commit an armed robbery with firearms, the criminal complaint says.

Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Peter Stoma said the allegation is that shots were fired during the robbery, and that Onfroy Jr. has been implicated by a co-defendant and by victims.

While many of his fans and friends started a #FreeRetch campaign on Twitter, there’s an image (which has since been deleted) of RetcH allegedly robbing someone on Instagram. The photo was reportedly posted by the New Jersey emcee a while back as a #TBT, but with his pending case, it’s disappeared.

According to legal records, RetcH has been arrested 12 times in New Jersey and currently has two open cases. His bail has been set for $150,000.
