An anonymous Los Angeles street artist was so inspired by Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Oscar win that he created a mural in tribute to the actor. The wall art, located on La Brea Avenue in the City of Angels, shows Leo holding his golden statue from the Academy with a motivational message printed next to him.
Last Sunday, Leo took home the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in The Revenant. The win was Leo’s first Oscar, despite his being nominated four times before. We can’t think of a more relevant example of where persistence and hard work can take you. No wonder social media exploded with congratulatory messages as Leo gracefully accepted the award.
