In the latest issue of Complex, the 19-year-old reality star and Lip Kit CEO revealed, “The first year we started hanging out, everyone around him told him not to be with me. I still get comments like, “Don’t be with him.”
But Kylie said her decision to date Tyga had nothing to do with anyone else… “But we’re not doing it for the public – we love each other. We need to be together at all times. We never get mad at each other, we just figure things out,” she added.
And as far as Tyga’s ex Blac Chyna, everything seems to have straightened itself out. We watched as they went from arch enemies to fast friends via social media. Kylie said the transition was genuine: “I never fought with her over social media in the beginning, but I understand where she was coming from and what place she was in. We’re totally fine. It’s all love.”
Finally, she had this to say about her love-hate relationship with fame and all the opportunity it’s brought her: “It’s definitely easier for me than for most people. There are so many doors that I’ve walked through.” She goes on to clarify prior statements: “I don’t hate my life. I’m happy. But everything that comes with it – the paparazzi and not being able to do normal things?”
“I’ve been famous for what feels like my whole life. I just want to know what it feels like not to be,” she added before going on to say, “Fame isn’t bad … (Growing up in public) is probably the hardest thing. You don’t know who you are.”
“I didn’t know who I was a year ago, and I still don’t know exactly who I am now. You’re trying to grow up and make mistakes and everybody’s watching,” she explained.
