Kerry Washington is nearing her due date, but her Scandal character Olivia Pope isn’t expecting a baby, so how does that work?

The 37-year-old soon-to-be-mom and wife to Nnamdi Asomugha recently opened up about how difficult it’s been to stay true to Olivia Pope when she’s going through so many personal changes of her own. Kerry dished:

“I work very physically as an actor. The biggest thing for me has been the challenge of how to be this person [Olivia Pope] with the personal transformation that’s going on for me physically and how to stay true to this character. That hasn’t been easy. It’s been an awesome challenge for me as an actor because so much of how I access character is through my body. It’s definitely been complicated to say the least. I’ve learned a lot about other ways to access Olivia and be her. It’s interesting that Olivia has had such a dark season and that’s been hard, too. I have my own understanding about who she is and to watch her go through and have to embody some of the things Olivia had to go through this season has really been challenging,” she said. “I’ve always talked about my favorite thing about the character being the balance between her strength and vulnerability, so to be this very strong woman in these very dark periods of emotional vulnerability has been hard—and fun.”

Kerry also spoke about the super creative ways producers decided to conceal her baby bump, including lamps and pillows:

“I’m just grateful for how hard everybody has worked to maintain the authenticity of this character in this world. I’m grateful to [costume designer] Lyn Paolo and all our producers.”

A sequel to Mrs. Doubtfire is in the works and even better news? Robin Williams is attached.

According to THR, the 62-year-old legendary actor will be reuniting with director Chris Columbus to finally bring fans of the original flick the long-awaited continuation, which has been in the works since 2001.

If you don’t recall, Mrs. Doubtfire was about a recently divorced father/struggling actor who takes on the persona of a Scottish nanny to be closer to his kids.

That morning, she tweeted:

She continued to hint at the news:

Jenny’s soon-to-be-hubby also hit up the show on their big day, and it was revealed that her 11-year-old son helped him pop the question.

How adorable is that?

Last but not least, the trailer for If I Stay was recently released, and it looks like a good one, ladies and gents.

The film, which stars Chloë Grace Moretz as Mia Hall and Jamie Blackley as Adam, is definitely a tearjerker, centering on Mia’s decision to either pursue her musical dreams at Juilliard, or follow the love of her life on a different path.

As the plot thickens, what should have been a carefree family drive changes everything in an instant, and Mia has just one choice left, which will decide her future and her ultimate fate.
