During this exclusive interview with www.MakingOf.com, director Joel Schumacher and actors Chace Crawford, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson and Emma Roberts discuss their drama ‘Twelve’ which closed this year’s Sundance Film Festival. The topics of conversation range from guerilla-style filmmaking to dealing with paparazzi while shooting. Schumacher shares how he kept everything on schedule and managed to shoot six scenes in under 12 hours each day. He also playfully refers to himself as ‘the oldest living student filmmaker.’

‘Twelve’ was acquired before it screened by Publisher Hanover House for around $2 million. There are plans for a major-market theatrical rollout this year. The adaptation is based on the best-selling novel by Nick McDonell and chronicles the violent and drug-fueled exploits of priviledged Manhattan teens. The ensemble cast includes: Chace Crawford, Emma Roberts, Rory Culkin, Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, Ellen Barkin and narration by long-time Schumacher collaborator Kiefer Sutherland.
