With all the hype surrounding her very controversial ‘Born Free’ video and her upcoming album, ///Y/, it’s only right that artist M.I.A. gets featured in the New York Times magazine. The amazing photos were shot by famous photographer, Ryan McGinley. The pair shot for two days for the magazine, and the end result images are works of art. I had to look into who Ryan McGinley was, and it turns out he’s shot some amazing photographs of celebs, people, and places. Below are his photos for M.I.A.’s NY Times mag feature, as well as some other great work he’s done. Check out the photographs and enjoy the art that Ryan creates.
